Acupuncture is a tried and tested system of traditional medicine originated in China, thousands of years ago.
As a method of treating people it is widely respected and used frequently in the UK. It is currently estimated that 2.3 million people are being treated each year by British Acupuncture Council members.
Both acupuncture and reflexology can be used for a range of health conditions most commonly stress, anxiety, fertility, back pain, sciatica and knee pain.
NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) recommends acupuncture for the treatment of migraines and headaches on the NHS.
As well as operating a general practice, I have a special interest in supporting women experiencing negative life impacting symptoms (such as hot flushes) as a result of the menopause transition.
I am fully insured and a member of both the British Acupuncture Council and the Association of Reflexologists. My style of practice is an integration of classical Chinese Medicine, contemporary acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Five Elements and Stems and Branches.
My clinic is based in Great Bookham, Surrey.
